Location:
Walnut Cottage, which dates
from the 16th century, is located in a rural setting in South-east
Hampshire and is approximately 10-12 miles from Southampton, Portsmouth
and Winchester. It is about 20 minutes from Junction 9 on the M3.
Courses are held in the large open-plan kitchen with lunch – weather
permitting – in the garden (approx. 0.75acre). The garden includes many
herbs – perennials, shrubs and trees from East and West – growing
throughout.
Nearest railway stations are Petersfield, Southampton Airport (Parkway),
or Winchester. Collection from these, or from Southampton Airport, can be
arranged for course attendees arriving by train or ‘plane.
